Back Through the College Gates

The same tower, different life paths

Cream reunion gift box with cap, folded tote, postcards, magnet and keychain
5 considered gifts. One collection shaped around the occasion.

Occasion

A liberal arts college welcomes alumni and their families for a twenty-fifth reunion weekend. The alumni office prepares keepsakes for registration, campus walks and an evening gathering in the old dining courtyard.

Idea

A clock tower, curved path and mature elm reconnect people with a familiar place. Pine green and warm ochre distinguish present and past, letting changing trees and courtyard scenes tell the story without relying on dates.

The collection

Every piece has a purpose.

01

Campus walk tote

A natural canvas tote carries reunion materials and later everyday essentials. The clock tower, shaded path and courtyard form a spacious campus vignette, framed by deep pine-green handles that keep the palette quietly recognizable.

Four postcards comparing past and present views of a college tower and courtyard
02

Then-and-now postcards

Four postcards invite alumni to exchange memories or write to friends who could not return. Paired views revisit the clock tower lawn and dining courtyard, showing a growing tree canopy and changing places to gather.

03

Reunion magnet

A small arched metal magnet remembers the act of coming back. Open gates frame a winding path and alumni meeting beneath the elm, with the tower and old dining hall waiting beyond the foreground.

Pine-green cap with cream clock-tower and tree-canopy embroidery
04

Class-year cap

A pine-green cotton cap gives classmates a shared detail during reunion walks. Cream tower embroidery and two simple canopy arcs sit on the front, leaving a discreet side area for a future class-year treatment.

Thin clock-tower keychain with pine-green and cream fill and silver ring
05

Clock tower keychain

A small clock-tower keychain turns a familiar campus landmark into an everyday companion after the farewell. Shallow metal details, pine-green and cream color, and a simple short chain keep the silhouette clear and compact.

The finishing touch

Walk the familiar path again

A cream lift-off corrugated box gives the cap room at the back beside the folded tote. Raised paper trays organize the postcards, magnet and keychain across the front, with metal pieces kept apart. Open gates and a winding path on the lid welcome alumni back before the first walk.
