A Riverside District Gift Shop

River & Loom

Open cream gift box with a mug cradle, folded tote and two removable trays displaying the bandana, postcards and magnets
5 considered gifts. One collection shaped around the occasion.

Occasion

For a gift shop in a former American riverside textile district, visitors and neighbors choose a small reminder of the place. The collection works as individual retail pieces or a complete gift assembled at the counter.

Idea

Turn the district’s sawtooth factory roofs, arched bridge and tall chimney into everyday objects. Brick red, river teal and warm cream connect the collection, while each material tells a different part of the neighborhood story.

The collection

Every piece has a purpose.

Three brick-red and teal metal magnets shaped like a factory, an arched bridge and a chimney entrance
01

Landmark Magnet Trio

Three shallow metal magnets turn the factory, bridge and chimney entrance into pocket-size souvenirs. Colored architectural details and slim metal edges give each landmark its own character while keeping the trio visually connected.

02

Neighborhood Map Bandana

A cotton square maps the river, factory buildings and bridge inside a border of window grids and weaving lines. Worn around the neck or kept in a bag, it carries a small piece of the district into daily life.

03

Architectural Story Postcards

A set of three illustrated postcards focuses on the factory, river crossing and neighborhood entrance. Warm paper tones and distinct compositions make them easy to send, display or collect; the extra view shows their shared reverse.

04

Riverside Ceramic Mug

A cream ceramic mug brings the riverfront home to the breakfast table. A teal handle picks up the water’s color, while a wraparound architectural illustration links the factory, bridge and neighboring buildings around the cup.

05

Factory Pocket Tote

A cream canvas tote combines brick-red handles with a real rectangular front pocket that becomes part of the factory façade. Printed sawtooth roofs extend above the pocket, turning a useful shopping bag into a recognizable streetscape.

The finishing touch

Riverside Collection Box

A cream corrugated flip-top box uses two columns and removable shallow trays to organize the collection. The folded tote sits beneath the bandana; postcards lift out above the magnet set. A separate molded-pulp cradle holds the mug beside the paper and textiles, with river and factory graphics outside.
